Medicare Made
Simple. Finally.

Turning 65 is a milestone — and Medicare is one of the most important decisions that comes with it. Supplement vs. Advantage. Part A, B, C, and D. Open enrollment windows that close whether you're ready or not. The choices are real, the stakes are high, and most people navigate it alone.

We're building a dedicated Medicare planning practice so that Nashville-area individuals approaching 65 have a knowledgeable, no-pressure advisor in their corner — not just a call center.

Available for the 2027 Annual Enrollment Period

Medicare services at IUL.Solutions will be available beginning with the 2027 Annual Enrollment Period, starting October 15, 2026. We are completing AHIP certification and carrier training to ensure every client receives fully compliant, properly credentialed guidance. No shortcuts.

Here's a preview of what we'll be covering:

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans Fills the gaps in Original Medicare. We'll help you compare plans and carriers to find the right coverage at the right price.
Medicare Advantage Plans All-in-one alternative to Original Medicare. We'll explain the tradeoffs honestly — not just sell you the plan with the highest commission.
Part D Prescription Drug Plans Standalone drug coverage that works alongside your health plan. Coverage and formularies vary — we'll help you find the right fit for your medications.
Enrollment Timing & Penalties Missing your Initial Enrollment Period can result in permanent premium penalties. We'll make sure you know your windows and don't miss them.

The Basics

Understanding the Parts of Medicare

Before you can make a smart Medicare decision, you need to understand what you're actually choosing between. Here's a plain-English breakdown of the four parts — no jargon, no agenda.

A

Hospital Insurance

Covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice, and some home health care. Most people pay no monthly premium for Part A if they or their spouse paid Medicare taxes while working.

B

Medical Insurance

Covers outpatient care, doctor visits, medical supplies, and preventive services. Requires a standard monthly premium that can vary based on your income. Part A and Part B together make up Original Medicare.

C

Medicare Advantage

An all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare offered by private companies approved by Medicare. Often includes extra benefits like vision, dental, and hearing. Replaces Parts A and B — not a supplement to them.

D

Prescription Drug Coverage

Adds prescription drug coverage to Original Medicare. Offered through private insurance companies. Formularies and costs vary by plan — what's covered and what you pay depends on which Part D plan you choose.

There is also Medicare Supplement (Medigap) — private insurance that works alongside Original Medicare (Parts A and B) to cover out-of-pocket costs like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. Medigap is not the same as Medicare Advantage. Understanding the difference between the two is one of the most important decisions you'll make at 65.
